Chelsea create master plan to prevent Callum Hudson-Odoi from joining Bayern Munich

Chelsea have drawn a master plan to prevent Callum Hudson-Odoi from joining Bayern Munich this month and probably even next summer.

According to the Telegraph, the club’s director Marina Granovskaia has told Bayern’s top officials to forget signing the youngster in this winter transfer window, pushing the Bavarians to wait for a summer transfer battle.

But all that could play in favor of Chelsea who see the six months between now and then as an opportunity to attempt everything possible to convince the player to sign a contract extension.

The Telegraph report says Maurizio Sarri and the club’s top brass now have the next few months to prove to the player how much they value him. With games set to come in thick and fast, Sarri is convinced he can give the 18-year old a decent run in the first team to persuade him to commit his future to the club.

Having handed in a transfer request that was rejected by Chelsea via Sky Sports, the Blues have already shown their ambition to keep the player amid the strong interest from the Bundesliga’s top teams.
