Chelsea could be set to lose Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich with Sky Sports now reporting the player is keen to join the Bavarians this month.
Sky had reported earlier that the Blues were refusing to sell the young England U-20 international, with three bids already rejected. The Bundesliga giants are not ready to back down though and have a feeling Chelsea’s top hierarchy will accept a bid in excess of £30m, the latest sum they offered.
Now Sky and the Guardian say Hudson-Odoi is not ready to commit his future to Chelsea and will reject the new deal his employers are set to put on the table. The report says he wants to join the Bundesliga champions after failing to bag more minutes under Maurizio Sarri this season.
The player fears he will not be an integral player at the club with Eden Hazard, Willian, and Pedro all vying for spots on the wing, and more so because the Blues just purchased Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.
Having already lost Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku after bad decisions, the club must not allow Hudson-Odoi leave. He may the next star that will hurt them in the Premier League or Europe.
