Chelsea fans may be boosted by news that struggling striker Alvaro Morata has been offered a way out of the club by La Liga giants Sevilla.
It is not definite that the former Real Madrid and Juventus striker will leave the club this January, however, when an offer is made and the player shows intent to depart then the Blues may be convinced to finally sell. The signs out of Stamford Bridge are not conclusive that the top hierarchy of the club wants to sell Morata.
He has failed since his signing from Real in the summer of 2016, scoring only 16 Premier League goals in 18 months. His goals this season have dried up since scoring a brace against Crystal Palace in the first week of November.
Sevilla boss Joaquin Caparros admitted Morata may be on Sevilla’s shortlist.
“We are working on many names. The important thing is that the player wants to come to Sevilla.”

Joining Sevilla may be the right move for the 25-year old who desperately needs to relaunch a career sliding down faster than the speed of light.
