Maurizio Sarri has the headache of dealing with the tricky issue of picking who starts regularly between David Luiz and Andreas Christensen and the latter’s performance against Sheffield Wednesday will give the Italian tactician even more sleepless nights.
Christensen maintained a solid form in Chelsea’s defense and injected a nice flavor in the second half as well. His first assist as a Chelsea player came when he found Callum Hudson-Odoi with a perfectly hit pass from almost 40 yards.
It was a carbon copy of Luiz’s assist in the win over Newcastle in the Premier League as seen below:
Christensen with an excellent ball over the top, Hudson-Odoi with a delicious pair of touches to take it down and beat his defender before finding the back of the net. the kid is CLASS. #CFC https://t.co/Xk1TXzPfg3
