The Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea transfer may reportedly be edging closer to completion, but the player himself has remained tight-lipped on the speculation.
A video has emerged online of the Argentina international being asked about the latest on his potential move to the Blues, which seems set to go through soon, according to news broken last night by Fabrizio Romano.
Agreement reached between #Juventus and #Chelsea for Gonzalo #Higuain! Loan + buy option for 6 months; it can be extended as loan also for one year more (2019/2020 season) if Higuain will get some steps with Chelsea (caps, goals, team targets). 🔵 #CFC #Chelsea #Juve #Milan

Still, Higuain was not playing ball and simply responded: ‘Were you waiting for me? Chelsea? If you are looking for a mess with me, you will never find it.’
Something will surely be made official soon if Romano’s tweets are anything to go by, with Higuain long linked as Chelsea’s preferred target up front this January.
If he does end up joining, the 31-year-old will reunited with his old Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge – a mouth-watering prospect as he arguably found his best form of his career under the Italian tactician.
