Chelsea striker Gonzalo Higuain opened his account for the club in the Blues’ 5-0 win over Huddersfield last weekend and his teammate Eden Hazard and head coach Maurizio Sarri believe there is more to come.
Sarri thinks the player’s progress in his overall physical condition will help him grab more goals.
Sarri on Higuain: “When he arrived he wasn’t top physical condition. Now he’s improving & I’m very happy because aside from his goals, I think he’s really suitable to play with Eden†#cfc

It took him three games to score his first goals for Chelsea but it was worth the wait. After he drew blank for Chelsea in their FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday and Premier League loss to Bournemouth, Higuain got off the mark in only 16 minutes against Huddersfield before adding a stunning third in the second half of the game.
His goals showed promise that the Argentina international is on course to more score goals for Chelsea than Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, the two strikers they began the season with. The pair managed six goals between them in the league for the first half of the season and you will not bet against Higuain to go past that.
Hazard believes his experience from working under Sarri at Napoli will tell.
We try to work with each other. Higuain is a new player but he knows what the manager wants. He is a great striker and he can score a lot of goals. England is different than Italy and Spain, but he has that ability.”
