Maurizio Sarri has given Hudson-Odoi reason to believe he is not involved in plans at Chelsea

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has not done the club any favors in their attempts to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi away from the clutches of Bayern Munich after sitting him out of the Blues 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup.

After making several promises in the wake of Bayern’s offers for the 18-year old in January, Sarri has kept faith instead with the likes of Pedro and Willian to partner Eden Hazard in attack. The Blues’ FA Cup run ended in the fifth round after Man United produced a fine display to knock them out of the competition on Monday night.

Hudson-Odoi has continued to play a fringe part of the first team and on Monday, things got a little worse. The likes of Ross Barkley and even Davide Zappacosta got themselves some minutes in the cup clash while CHO sat out the entire game.

His creative skills combined with the pace he possesses at the moment may have helped to open up Man United’s stubborn backline, but Sarri again showed, CHO the player he trusts least in his squad right now.
