There is immense pressure on Chelsea’s head coach Maurizio Sarri. Partly, for the Blues sorry performances in recent weeks and also because of his goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga’s act of defiance in front of the world.
Goalscorer against Tottenham, Pedro says he and his playing colleagues are fully behind Sarri despite recent negative vibes about the club.
“We have all talked to each other in the dressing room. We’ve also talked to Willy and we’ve talked to the coach. The truth is that we have solved all the problems and I think it has been a [small] incident rather than a serious problem.
We have always been with him. We have always talked about all the problems we have had. [Sarri] had to make a decision [with Kepa]. He has done that and we simply respect him because we always respect all the managers.”

Sarri is expected to lose his job at some point, but latter signs may be pointing a new direction. Chelsea played admirably against Manchester City only for their hard-fought extra-time draw be overshadowed by Kepa’s melodrama in the dying minutes of the game.

The world called for punishment to be laid on Kepa. He was fined by the club a week’s wage and then Sarri took a bold decision on Wednesday. The Spain international was dropped from the starting line up and replaced by Willy Caballero against Tottenham.
The Blues played a very good game against the third-placed side in the Premier League and secured a 2-0 victory courtesy a Pedro goal early in the second half and Kevin Trippier’s own goal.
