Chelsea develop new plans to keep Eden Hazard as talks are set to begin

Chelsea are keen to keep their star forward Eden Hazard and are now planning to hold crunch talks with the Belgium captain soon about a contract extension.

The former Lille star has remained a top target for Real Madrid and has himself admitted to dreaming of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu. So far, no firm offer has been made by the Madrid giants despite constant talk of Los Blancos prioritizing him in the transfer list.

The 28-year old is currently the leading scorer at Chelsea this season, proving again why he is one of the best players in the Premier League.

Le 10 Sport via the Sun says the Blues are not ready to lose the forward and want to renew the player’s contract to a wage worth £300,000-a-week. Hazard current deal ends in the summer of 202o but Chelsea want to extend it to deter Real from moving in for him.
