Chelsea v Wolves team news: CHO on the bench, no Willian or Alonso

Chelsea’s starting eleven to face Wolves in the Premier League this afternoon has been confirmed – and there’s no room for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Hudson-Odoi scored during a 12-minute cameo against Dynamo Kiev on Thursday night, which will have aided his campaign to convince Maurizio Sarri that he’s worthy of a start. Pedro has been performing lately, though, and subsequently keeps his place.

Chelsea fans will be disappointed with Hudson-Odoi’s omission, but ought to be happy that both of their favourite scapegoats, Marcos Alonso and Willian, have been left out. Emerson Palmieri returns to the side at left-back.

Andreas Christensen has been superb in our previous two games, but it’s not enough to keep his starting spot for this one. Antonio Rudiger returns to partner David Luiz, with the captain’s armband being handed back over to Cesar Azpilicueta, who replaces Davide Zappacosta.

Here’s how Sarri’s men lineup in full for today’s game. What do you think, Blues? Is this team good enough to get all three points today?
