Reece James, on loan at Wigan from Chelsea, has been named in the WhoScored team of the month for February.
That marks another month where the young right back has excellent in England’s second tier. He’s making great progress in a team that is really struggling, and on Monday we posted some really scandalous highlights from this weekend where he was tearing Rotherham apart.

We’re so excited by his development, and we can’t wait to see if can can make an impact on the first team next season.
There is an argument to send him on loan to a mid-table Premier League club who will play him regularly, but if we sell Davide Zappacosta there is a perfect slot opening for him in the squad.
Azpi is slowing down now and Reece is just the right age to learn from the master and start to fill in for him more and more regularly.
