Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will receive a new contract from his employers as the Blues seek to prevent a summer rush for the talented player.
The hot teenage sensation is considered one of the best young players in world football and Bayern Munich showed deep interest in him during the winter transfer window. They made several bids for the youngster but were all turned down by Chelsea.
His demand, that attracted interest from Germany, was for him to get a lot more minutes in the first team. Until the beginning of April, Maurizio Sarri had stuck to his belief that Hudson-Odoi was not ready for consistent first-team opportunities. But that has changed as he made his first start against Brighton at Stamford Bridge.

Since then the 18-year old has had four consecutive starts although that would be curtailed by the injury he picked up on Monday. Hudson-Odoi tore his Achilles tendon, ruling him out for the season. His long-term absence means Bayern will pull the plug on his chase, according to the Telegraph.
Goal also says Chelsea are still interested in handing him a new long term contract. The report says he could earn close to £100,000-per-week which will be a significant rise on his current wage.
