Look around the various blogs covering tonight’s game against Slavia Prague and you’ll see one thing in common in all their previews, including ours: Eden Hazard sitting on the bench.
It was widely expected that the Belgian would rest in this game, as he had last week in the first leg. Maurizio Sarri would always have him ready on the bench in case he needed him.
But instead the Italian coach has elected to start him, despite the opposition and the lead Chelsea have in the tie overall.
Some people are happy he will get the chance to stat pad a little, others think he should be on the bench. You can see a selection of the comments below:

I’m assuming we play hazard, hopefully he gets the job done and we rest him and bring on CHO, we have one midfielder on the bench which is Jorginho, will he come on so Kovacic rests? Or Kante rests? #CHESLA
