Chelsea’s potential transfer ban this summer is hurting the club in many ways, but it will also give some unexpected favourites the chance to break back into the side.
Kurt Zouma is the perfect example. A real fan favourite, his long injury layoff disrupted his attempt to break into the Chelsea team.
His loan at Everton this year has been a huge success however, and the Frenchman is looking ready to try and take another crack at the first team if we recall him for next year.
Fans on social media were calling for exactly that in reaction to his performance against Man United at the weekend:

Letting Kurt Zouma leaves would be a major crime, the man needed time to get on his feet after injury and he got that at Everton and he’s dropping masterclass game by game. Now we want our CB back that’s how loan contract works out! pic.twitter.com/57imcZSYcx
