Chelsea striker Gonzalo Higuain will remain at Stamford Bridge next season if the words of Maurizio Sarri are to be believed.
The Argentina international is one of the Blues stars rumored to be on his way out this summer. His situation is a complicated one. Having signed a temporary deal with the Blues in January, the player is thought to be on his way back to Italy in the summer when the loan deal expires.

According to CalcioMercato Juventus want to sell the 31-year old, and with Chelsea restricted by the FIFA ban, moving permanently to London next summer will prove a difficult transaction to complete. A loan extension is possible however, and it would suit the Blues who may not want to have a player over the age of 30 on a long-term contract.
So when Sarri was asked after the draw with Manchester United on Sunday whether Higuain will stay, his answer was revealing enough:
“In theory, yes. It’s difficult to adapt to the Premier League. I think in the next season he will be able to score a lot. For a striker it is difficult to get used to the Premier League. I remember Suarez at Liverpool in his first season only scored three goals, then 16, then 24.”

We might not like it, but we’ll just have to deal with it.
