Fikayo Tomori won the player of the season award for Derby this week, reminding everyone that there is a loan star there doing every bit as well as Mason Mount.
While Reece James wins all the plaudits for his superb efforts at Wigan, it’s easy to overlook someone like Kenneth Omeruo really impressing for Leganes in La Liga. He might not ever be a Chelsea player, but he’s ours now and we always like to see our boys do well.
What an honour🙏🏾🤩. Thank you to all @dcfcofficial Supporters for this award, it means a lot! All together now to make those playoffs at the end of the season🖤💪🏾🐏.

Then there’s some really niche picks. What about Victorien Angban, who is at Metz. He’s made 20 league starts this season in Ligue 1. And good on him. Who knows what the future holds for him?
Tammy Abraham gets plenty of praise, but really, that’s a quite crazy amount of goals to score for a young guy. If he were to stay at Championship level, he would be top scorer before too long.
