Chelsea striker Gonzalo Higuain actively argued the decision by Maurizio Sarri to substitute him in the 2-2 draw against Burnley on Monday.
The Argentina international was left bemused when Olivier Giroud showed up on the touchline as his replacement. He was seen throwing a strop and his water bottle to the floor in the second half of the game. Perhaps he believed he could have contributed more than the one goal he scored in the game.
It certainly was odd to see the team not play two strikers at once when they were chasing the game.
