On BeinSport’s coverage of tonight’s game against Burnley, Andy Gray made the point that Maurizio Sarri was mad for taking off Gonzalo Higuain and replacing him with Olivier Giroud just when Chelsea needed a goal.
There are plenty of Chelsea fans who would agree with him. Higuain had scored a great goal, and while he was otherwise labouring, it was just beyond the stage of caring about anything beyond having your best attacking players on the pitch.

That’s what Chelsea had to do, and Sarri didn’t want it. He preferred his system above everything else.
