“I want to play in the Champions League – and we will” – Eden Hazard’s latest comments will get Chelsea fans excited about the future

Chelsea fans are being teased by their star forward Eden Hazard about his own future at the club. With rumors intensifying that he will leave for Real Madrid this summer, what the Belgium international says feeds excitement and frustration among his fans.

The former will be the emotion on Chelsea fans’ faces when they hear what he said after the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday. When quizzed about the possibility of Chelsea making the top four next season, the 27-year old was adamant his side deserved every bit of Champions League football.

He sounded almost sure that he will join his teammates to play in Europe’s elite competition next season which will be great news for the club and fans who are desperate to keep the star winger:

“Chelsea has to play in the Champions League every year. It’s one of biggest clubs in the world, and for myself also I want to play in the Champions League – and we will.”

He is certainly a great player and deserves the best in the game, and that’s perhaps why he dreams of playing for Real Madrid. Chelsea’s draw with Man United means they only need to win the remaining two games against Watford and Leicester City to confirm their place in the top flight’s top four teams this season.

The fact that Eden said “we” doesn’t mean anything certain… but we will allow it to let us hope a little bit more this week!
