Mason Mount is coming to Japan! The Sun report that Chelsea have applied for the youngster’s visa as they plan for him to be involved in our pre-season tour.

Having passed the first test of his professional career with Vitesse Arnhem, he took the plunge into the English game with Derby County.
Mount has only grown in stature and quality under the stewardship of Frank Lampard, scoring 11 goals from midfield in all competitions.
Chelsea appear to have been impressed with what they’ve seen. The Sun believe that Mount is expected to join the squad during their pre-season tour of Japan.
The report claims that the Blues have applied for Mount’s visa in advance, with the club believing he can grow into a first-team role after two successful years away.
We’d love to see Mount be involved next term. Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s injury, while a tragedy, could be an opportunity for the 20-year-old.
He has the edge over Mateo Kovacic in that he can both score and assist. We hope that Maurizio Sarri recognises his potential.
