Chelsea have already decided who will get Eden Hazard’s number 10 when the Belgian inevitably joins Real Madrid this summer, according to the Daily Mail
As the report notes, Hazard is expected to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu sooner rather than later, linking up with childhood hero Zinedine Zidane.
Hazard has remained loyal to Chelsea for seven years and deserves to be granted the move he has dreamt of since he were a young child.
Chelsea ought to focus their efforts on replacing Hazard, whose influence in the team over the past few seasons has been completely immeasurable.
Thankfully for us, we do have a ready-made replacement in the shape of academy product Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is currently out injured.
The Daily Mail believe that CHO has been identified as Hazard’s successor, with Chelsea set to offer the 18-year-old the number 10 shirt when Eden leaves.
This would be a real show of faith in a player who struggled to earn the trust of his manager throughout the first half of the season. Let’s make it happen!
