Arsenal could be without injured six for tonight’s Europa League final vs. Chelsea

Arsenal will be missing up to six first-team players for tonight’s Europa League final against Chelsea, according to the well-informed Physio Room.

With Chelsea’s injury problems worsening by the day, you could be forgiven for thinking that the pendulum has swung in Unai Emery’s favour.

However, Arsenal themselves are not blessed with a fully fit squad for tonight’s game, as Physio Room have shown ahead of the fixture.

Aaron Ramsey, Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Konstantinos Mavropanos have all been ruled out of tonight’s game with respective injuries.

Physio Room also list Denis Suarez as a ‘major doubt’ while the soon to be out of contract Danny Welbeck is down as a ‘slight doubt’.

While Arsenal will still be capable of manufacturing a strong starting eleven from their fully fit players, there’s no doubt they’d be stronger if not for injury.

One thing we can be really thankful for is that Ramsey is set to miss out. He’s one of their best players, so it’s good news from a Chelsea perspective.
