Juventus chief makes decision on Europa League final to confirm interest in Chelsea man

Chelsea have a big summer coming up and making the move to keep their head coach could be one of the biggest tasks for them in the coming transfer window, despite reports indicating that the top hierarchy at the club wants him out.

Maurizio Sarri may be on his way to Juventus if this report is anything to go by. Talk Sport say the Blues’ head coach has agreed a deal with the Turin giants and a move will be announced in the summer, after the Europa League final. That goes a long way to signal that not all is well at the Stamford Bridge club despite Sarri’s initial success in England.

He has not won a trophy yet, but the former Napoli head coach has guided Chelsea to third place in the English top flight and secured final berths in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League. The Italian has still to convince the Chelsea fraternity of his qualities, and Juventus want to pounce for him.

Football Italia says Juventus chief Andrea Agnelli is set to attend the Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan to see Sarri work up close. His appearance will confirm Juve’s interest in Chelsea coach and even more, push the talks to sign him up even further.
