La Liga giants step up efforts to finalise deal for Chelsea winger

Eden Hazard’s dream has always been to play for Real Madrid, and it seems that wish is about to materialize after a report by the Sun claimed the Spanish club are increasingly getting close to their top summer target.

The Belgium international is on Zinedine Zidane’s list of targets for next season, and Los Blancos have begun their pursuit. Hazard has only a year left to run on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, and his avoidance of a new deal from his employers hint at a will to leave England soon.

The 28-year old is counting his days in the Premier League, seven years after he signed for Chelsea. Now he wants the move to the Santiago Bernabeu and the Sun says Los Blancos could be beginning ‘ the next phase’ in their negotiations.

The next phase after identifying their target and getting their French coach, Zinedine Zidane to make public their interest in the player, is to get his countryman to whisper into his ears as per the Sun. Thibaut Courtois reportedly also took the responsibility after admitting his wish to reunite with the winger.
