Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is top of PSG’s transfer wishlist for the summer transfer window, according to the Mirror.
Kante is one of the best players in the Premier League, and has been ever since his arrival at Leicester City.
Having won the title with the Foxes, the Frenchman saw Chelsea as the ideal next step on his road to the top of the game.
It proved to be a good decision from Kante, with Chelsea winning the title the season after he won it with Leicester.
Kante now has an FA Cup and a World Cup to his name as well, and who knows, there could soon be the Europa League.
You’d think he has no reason to leave Chelsea, who have provided a happy home for him since the summer of 2016.
However, the Mirror report that PSG, with their enormous financial power, are keen on signing him this summer.
The report claims that Kante is their number one target this summer, but Chelsea are not prepared to allow him to leave.
Kante signed a new five-year contract back in November, and with Eden Hazard set to depart, we cannot afford to lose him too.
He doesn’t seem the type to push for a transfer, and certainly doesn’t appear discontented. We find it hard to see this one happening.
