Report claims Chelsea have reached £115M agreement on eve of Europa League final

The Sun believe that a deal has been agreed between Chelsea and Real Madrid for the transfer of Eden Hazard, ahead of tonight’s Europa League final.

It’s claimed in the report that Real Madrid will part with £100M plus a potential £15M in add-ons, with Hazard himself set to earn £400K-a-week at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The belief is that the two clubs have finally reached an agreement after two weeks of negotiations, with Real Madrid getting their man and Chelsea getting a whole load of cash.

Take this with a pinch of salt

While there’s no denying at this point that Hazard has his eye on a move to Madrid, he has conducted himself in an exemplary manner and would surely not agree personal terms ahead of the final.

Marina Granovskaia will also not have given the green-light to his sale so close to a game of this magnitude. Real Madrid will surely have to wait until after the game.

For this news to break on the eve of such a considerable fixture, we wonder if it’s a ploy from Arsenal fans at The Sun to attempt to disrupt Chelsea’s equilibrium.

Don’t fear though, Blues, it’s not going to prove successful. Hazard will be fired up to end on a high this evening – and only then we can talk about agreeing his sale.
