Kurt Zouma played his final Everton home game on Friday night, and some of the Toffees faithful on Twitter have been begging him to stay.
Zouma has been imperious for Everton this term, particularly since the turn of the calendar year. He’s been a huge contributor towards their recent turnaround of form.
The Frenchman, on-loan from Chelsea, achieved exactly what he set out to do at Goodison – he proved that he can still cut it in the Premier League.
He was previously a first-team member at Chelsea, but a serious knee injury derailed his Blues career. After the campaign he’s had, it may well be back on track.
That’s if he remains at Chelsea, though. There’s always a possibility that his loan club will look to purchase him permanently, which looks to be the will of the fans.
