Two impressive records broken by Chelsea’s winger in Europa League final

Chelsea forward Pedro broke two outstanding records in his final appearance in the Europa League that helped his side win the trophy against Arsenal.

On Wednesday, Chelsea defeated their London rivals 4-1 to lift the European trophy in Baku, Azerbaijan. Olivier Giroud got to the end of a cross and perfectly headed into the bottom corner of Petr Cech’s goal before Pedro found the back of the net after a neat cross by Eden Hazard – making his last appearance in the Chelsea shirt – got to him just inside the penalty area.

The Spaniard then became the first player to score in the Champions League, Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup finals.

As per the Daily Mail, the win was for Chelsea their only silverware triumph this season, and it also gave Pedro the right to be called the only player to win the Champions League, the Premier League, the Europa League, the World Cup and the European Championships.

Congratulations Pedro! You are a real gem and you proved it again last night.
