Chelsea fans on an away day in Frankfurt have created a new song for academy product Ruben Loftus-Cheek – and we’re loving it.
Loftus-Cheek was one of our best players on the night in Frankfurt. He was the driving force of our midfield once again, justifying his continual inclusion in the starting eleven.
Though the Englishman was criminally overlooked by Maurizio Sarri earlier in the season, he has established himself as an important member of the side in recent weeks.
The Chelsea faithful will be loving it, with all of us campaigning for more academy involvement in the first-team since (what feels like) time began.
Loftus-Cheek has began to bridge the gap, with Chelsea fans now showing their gratitude in the shape of a brand new song.
Have a listen to this, debuted in Frankfurt.

One line, which is an absolute cracker, refers to Ruben as the ‘Lewi-sham Ballack’, a nod to both where he was born and the comparison to a Chelsea great.
If Loftus-Cheek becomes even half the player Ballack was, we’re in for a treat, and he’ll be right on his way to achieving that if he continues to perform as he did last night.
