Maurizio Sarri storming out of Chelsea open training on Tuesday essentially swept a feud between Gonzalo Higuain and David Luiz under the rug.
There were suggestions that Sarri’s fury could have been as a result of his two players clashing so close to a big game, but the club were quick to play down the incident.
A Chelsea spokesman on Sarri HatGate: “Maurizio’s frustration displayed at the end of training was not related to any of his players, but was due to not being able to practise set-plays in the final 15 minutes of the hour-long training session as it remained open to media.†#cfc

Whether or not you believe that excuse, it’s unlikely Higuain’s anger towards Luiz was because he was unable to practice corners. There was genuine ill feeling between the two.
Have a look at this, with the two players clashing and Higuain having words in Luiz’s ear afterwards. It’s the last thing you want to see so close to a European cup final.

Nothing to fear, Blues fans!
You’d do well to keep a smile off Luiz’s face for any length of time. There’s no doubt that he will have forgiven Higuain by now for kicking off in the public eye.
Both players have played huge roles for their respective countries over the past decade, with the Brazil v Argentina rivalry being as bitter now as it has ever been.
This footage does not suggest that there is any kind of disruption in the dressing room ahead of tonight’s clash with Arsenal, you’d be wrong to suggest it does.
All it represents is two players with a competitive edge losing their temper, as they often do. These things likely happen all the time behind the scenes at Cobham.
Let’s not concern ourselves about it, and instead focus on supporting the team tonight!
