Bayern Munich still want Chelsea youngster, player now open to Blues opportunity

Bayern Munich remain interested in signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, but the youngster is now considering extending his contract with the Blues.

That’s the information provided by Bundesliga expert Christian Falk during an exclusive interview with GFFN. He believes that Bayern could be left out in the cold.

GFFN asked Falk if Bayern were still interested in signing Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea this summer, a question to which the journalist replied:

“Yes.”

However, he added…

“Hudson-Odoi now from what I’ve heard, is thinking again about Chelsea, because they are willing to give him a new opportunity.”

“I think a few months ago, Hudson-Odoi was convinced about Bayern, and would not sign a new Chelsea contract. He would have signed with Bayern in 2020, but perhaps in the last weeks something could have changed in his mind, but we will have to see.”

Under no circumstances should Chelsea allow Hudson-Odoi to walk out of the door. He’s one of the club’s most valuable assets and our most promising young player.

Having already sold Eden Hazard, if Chelsea were to allow their only natural successor to leave, without the possibility of replacing him, it would be a huge error.

Thankfully, at least if Falk is right on this one, Hudson-Odoi is willing to stay put at Chelsea and sign a contract extension. We eagerly await movement on that front.
