There’s little chance that Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will be following former manager Maurizio Sarri to Juventus this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Sarri places great value on players that he knows and trusts. It’s the only reason that both Jorginho and Gonzalo Higuain ever arrived at Stamford Bridge.
While Higuain may well get the possibility to play under Sarri once again at Juventus, Jorginho has been left to fend for himself in SW6 following his manager’s departure.
While there have been some rather lazy suggestions that Sarri could attempt to take Jorginho with him to continue their relationship at a third club, it doesn’t look likely.
The Daily Mail report that Chelsea are unlikely to allow Jorginho to leave so soon after splashing out on him, with Miralem Pjanic also being to the liking of Sarri.
Jorginho’s performances improved considerably towards the end of last campaign, so there’ll be no complaints from us if he’s here come the start of next season.
