Frank Lampard, who looks set to take charge of Chelsea, has been spotted on holiday in St. Tropez with wife Christine. Let’s hope they’re not planning on staying too long!
ESPN report that Lampard is on the verge of returning to Stamford Bridge. Their belief is that the deal could be completed and announced by the end of this coming week.
While that may still be true, we won’t be expecting any official announcement imminently. Lampard’s not at Cobham, he’s off sunning himself in St. Tropez with his wife.

Lampard is well within his rights to have a holiday, especially after what a long and arduous season he had at Derby County.
He’ll have to snap right out of holiday mode when he signs along the dotted line, however. There’s plenty of work to be done at Cobham.
