Chelsea loanee tells friends he would leave Blues for return to temporary employers

Kurt Zouma has told friends that he would be interested in returning to temporary employers Everton this summer, according to a Daily Star exclusive.

Zouma impressed while out on-loan with the Toffees last season, leaving Chelsea fans wondering whether he could return and be part of our first-team setup next term.

Especially with the transfer ban remaining in force, we could do without losing players who could be of genuine worth to whoever our new manager may be.

Zouma certainly qualifies as one of those, but the Daily Star believe he has reservations over whether or not to remain at Stamford Bridge next term.

It’s claimed in their report that Zouma has informed friends that a move to Everton would be appealing to him, and you have to assume they’d be interested in making it happen.

The Frenchman is genuinely good enough to challenge for a starting spot at Chelsea, which is why we firmly believe he will give his Blues career one last shot.

If Everton put a considerable sum on the table over the coming weeks and months, however, it may well become difficult for Chelsea, and Zouma, to say no.
