Telegraph journalist Matt Law has revealed that all of Chelsea’s transfer business is currently on hold – and there’s a pretty good reason for it too.
We say transfer business, but Chelsea find themselves unable to sign any players this summer, such is the reality of being hit with a transfer ban.
What we’re referring to is the outgoings, of which there may be many, with first-team players and loanees yet to have their futures resolved.
There hasn’t been much movement on that front in the summer so far, and Matt Law believes he knows why, as he revealed to his followers on Twitter.
Also in this, decisions on Zouma future and outgoings on hold until Lampard is appointed and Cech officially starts work.

It’s smart from the club to wait until Lampard is through the door and then consult him on players’ futures. That way we avoid making (more) mistakes.
It also suggests that Petr Cech will be working closely with his former teammate on matters of this kind, which we are absolutely here for!
