The two disgruntled Chelsea players which provide a test for Frank Lampard

Two Chelsea players have grown frustrated over their roles, leaving Frank Lampard with a decision to make when he takes the reins, according to the Telegraph.

While Maurizio Sarri succeeded during his debut campaign at Chelsea, one of the Italian’s flaws, which we even saw at Napoli, was his stubbornness.

Sarri does not appear to place much value on rotation. He decides who out of the squad he wants to be involved and those who don’t make the cut are left out in the cold.

Two players who learnt that the hard way last term are Davide Zappacosta and Marcos Alonso, with the latter losing his starting position towards the tail end of the season.

The Telegraph believe that their disgruntlement could provide the first challenge for Frank Lampard at the club. He’ll have to get to work convincing them to stay, if it’s his wish.

If either, or both, do decide to depart, we would be entirely confident plugging the holes in the squad with the talent we have out on loan. What do you think, Blues?
