Chelsea new-boy Christian Pulisic netted for the USA against Trinidad and Tobago last night.
Pulisic has a tough task ahead of him when he finally joins up with the Chelsea squad and embarks on his career as a Blue.
As much as he, and us alike, will be reluctant to measure himself up to Eden Hazard, ultimately he is the replacement for our former superstar in the squad.
Whether he will be able to match, or even better, the accomplishments of Eden is something only time can tell, but netting on a regular basis will be a great way to start.
Pulisic showed off his goal-scoring ability last night while in action for the USA. It wasn’t the prettiest of goals, but you have to get into these positions to score them.
We create plenty of chances as a team, and if we are still able to do so without the influence of our main creative source, Pulisic will score plenty next term.
Regardless, this will go some way to boosting his confidence ahead of his arrival at Cobham to begin pre-season training with the Chelsea squad.
