We are no Willian haters here – he’s a hard working players, who with some moments of brilliant through his time at Chelsea has given us some really special moments.
There’s no denying that he’s had some stinkers too, and in fact he’s never quite been able to establish himself at the top level. It’s no surprise that some Chelsea fans have started to turn against him over the last couple of years as his performances tailed off.
Despite all that, the winger still seems to be failing upwards. Despite his increasing age and declining form, the departure of Eden Hazard means he will probably be more important than ever in this team next season.
Not only that, but Neymar’s injury this week has meant that the 30 year old will now travel to the Copa America to play for his country too.
