Chelsea will not have a buy-back option on promising youngster Daishawn Redan, who is set to sign for Hertha Berlin, according to German based journalist Marcel Braune.
It became clear on Wednesday that Redan was closing in on a transfer to the Bundesliga outfit – and one that he would not be returning from. Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol tweeted this.

While Chelsea do have a plethora of promising young talent, it’s never nice to see one walk out the door, especially when they are as talented as Redan. The 18-year-old is a real loss.
Not only is it a permanent transfer to Hertha, but it doesn’t look as though Chelsea have been able to successfully negotiate a buy-back clause for the Dutchman.
German journalist Marcel Braune posted this information in his native tongue, which basically says that their is no buy-back option in the deal which will see Hertha sign Redan.
Chelsea hat bei #Redan übrigens KEINE Rückkaufoption. #hahohe

We really hope this isn’t yet another case of one that got away…
