Frank Lampard isn’t the only former Chelsea man to return to the club today, as Derby County have confirmed in their parting statement.
Lampard has now officially completed his return to the club where he made so many memories as a player, embarking on a new chapter in his career and his relationship with the Blues.
We Chelsea fans are delighted to see someone who knows the club inside out in the dugout. We can feel safe in the knowledge that Lampard will give everything he has for Chelsea.

As Derby confirmed in their official statement, former Chelsea player and academy coach Jody Morris has followed Lamps, as well as ex-Chelsea first-team fitness coach Chris Jones.
Chelsea really are bringing the gang back together at Cobham, with Petr Cech being appointed in a technical role. This is the start of a new era for us, and we cannot wait.
