RB Salzburg v Chelsea lineups: Frank Lampard goes with strong starting eleven

Football London have given us an early look at Chelsea’s starting eleven which will be facing Red Bull Salzburg this evening – which could give us an idea of the side which will lineup against Man United.

Frank Lampard has experimented with his starting eleven throughout pre-season in order to both give the younger players a chance and force the more established players into proving themselves to him.

He appears to have taken on board everything that he has witnessed throughout our pre-season campaign and has picked a very strong side to take on Red Bull Salzburg this evening.

Football London report our starting eleven to be as follows:

Chelsea: Kepa, Emerson, Luiz, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Jorginho, Kovacic; Pedro, Pulisic, Barkley; Abraham.

Subs: Caballero, Cumming, Alonso, Christensen, Zappacosta, Tomori, Kenedy, Mount, Batshuayi, Giroud.

It would be somewhat controversial if this were to be what we saw at Old Trafford, with Tammy Abraham being preferred to Michy Batshuayi and Mason Mount only making the substitutes bench.

What do you think, Blues? Is this our strongest starting eleven?
