It’s safe to say that Jorginho is now a renown name in the footballing world, but UEFA appear incapable of so much as spelling the Chelsea midfielder’s name correctly.
Jorginho has elevated himself to the summit of the football world after performing consistently for both Napoli and Chelsea. His name is one that everyone ought to be familiar with.
However, someone at UEFA has clearly never heard of him, either that or they didn’t have his glasses on, because the Italian’s name was spelt incorrectly on his shirt last night!

Unless the Italian has legally had his name changed without having the courtesy of informing us, this is quite the blunder from UEFA, and on the night that one of their biggest matches took place.
Poor Jorginho, whose excellent performance out on the field in Istanbul will have earned him plenty of recognition. Unfortunately, all his new fans will be searching Google for ‘Jorghino’…
