Chelsea face Liverpool at the Besiktas Arena in the UEFA Super Cup final in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
Frank Lampard’s second competitive game of the year sees him pick N’Golo Kante with Jorginho and Kovacic in midfield, meaning a first outing for what many would consider out best 3 in those positions.
Up front, Christian Pulisic makes his competitive debut for us on the left, with Pedro playing on the right behind Olivier Giroud up top.
The back 5 remains the same from the weekend’s loss. That’s a stronger XI than we expected, and shows how seriously Lampard is taking this game. It would be a huge boost to morale to get a result here, and he knows it.
