Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori achieve Chelsea dream together

Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori’s road to the Chelsea starting eleven has been a lengthy one, but today against Sheffield United, they made it – together!

Abraham has been granted several opportunities by Frank Lampard prior to today’s game, but Tomori has not been so fortunate. Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen have been our starting centre-back pairing.

He was given the chance to start from the beginning against Sheffield United today, however, with Christensen dropping to the bench. As a result, he and Tammy completed their journey to the top.

Have a look at this…

And this is what it’s all about. These two have been friends for years and now find themselves playing first-team football for the club they love. It really is the stuff of dreams for the pair of them.

We hope that this becomes the norm under Lampard, who appears absolutely ready and willing to give a chance to every matter no matter how old they may be.
