Chelsea loanee set for talks over his Burnley future in wake of nightclub assault

Danny Drinkwater is set to hold talks with Burnley manager Sean Dyche over his future in wake of the Manchester nightclub attack, according to Sky Sports News.

Drinkwater appears to be finding it difficult to stay out of the headlines (for the wrong reasons) nowadays, with The Sun‘s report on his attack in Manchester taking his unprofessionalism to a whole new level.

Unfortunately for the former England international, he may not get away with this one as easy as he has before. Sky Sports News believe that talks over his Burnley future are now scheduled to take place.

If Burnley send him back from his loan, we ought to terminate his contract whatever the cost. It helps nobody to have people like him lounging around Cobham while others work hard for the cause.

We are absolutely sick of the sight of him and don’t see the benefit of allowing him to associate himself with Chelsea any longer than he already has – especially after this incident.
