Chelsea legend Didier Drogba was THE man for THE big occasion – and the stats are there to prove it.
We could always rely on Didier to step up and deliver the goods on the biggest stage. He did it time and time again throughout his professional career.
Reddit user u/Hogwartsfrozen has now shared this graphic which shows, in-depth, just how good Drogba was in cup finals. Let us talk you through it.

As shown Drogba scored in ten of the 17 finals he played in, netting 12 goals in total. He was on the winning side in 11 of those (which of course includes the Champions League final).
His favourite opposing managers were Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson, who were in charge of the two other top teams in the country at the time Drogba was at Chelsea.
There really will never be another like him, and if there is, we long for the day that he walks through the door at Stamford Bridge.
