Chelsea beat Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today, and it was a record breaking game in many respects.
The Blues are on a serious roll now, taking advantage of their easier run of games to really collect some serious points, and we couldn’t be happier. Supporting a football team isn’t supposed to be this fun.
After the game there was a wash of stats, from a rather rapid update to our youngest hattrick scorer record to a team that’s starting to pick up away goals at a rate not really seen before.
It can’t last forever, but while it does we’re delighted. Another couple of wins next week will see another flood of these, and we’re here for it. Our new signing doing things last seen from Didier Drogba? It’s a decent start.
We’ve collected ten of the best stats for you to enjoy below:
2010 – Christian Pulisic is the first Chelsea player to score a 'perfect' Premier League hat-trick since Didier Drogba against Wigan in May 2010. Skilled. #BURCHE
