Why Chelsea should be looking to beat Man U despite heavy loss

Chelsea go into tomorrow’s game with Manchester United in a totally different mood to the one that consumed them ahead of their their opening fixture of the season against the same opponent.

Back then, nobody was really sure how Frank Lampard would get on this season, there was a lot of uncertainty and doubt about how he and the new players would get on, and it played out horribly on the pitch.

Despite a bright start, Chelsea conceded a couple of soft goals and crumbled entirely, ending the game with a 4-0 loss that didn’t really reflect how the game went.

Since then Chelsea have been getting the results they deserve, and a bit of luck too, while the Red Devils have really suffered. Now their paths cross again, and everyone will be expecting a home win for the Blues, despite their recent heavy defeat to the same team.

It will be an odd game, with young players present on both sides, but whoever is on the team sheet, we should be looking to get on the front foot and win this.
