Chelsea price suitors out of potential £45 million striker approach

January often brings some crazy figures for potential deals, with it being a notoriously difficult window to do deals in.

Chelsea are now pricing out potential suitors intending to make a move for their striker Michy Batshuayi, by placing a £45 million price tag on his head, according to The Sun.

As a result, they claim that both Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have cooled their interest in the Belgian international.

The report also states that Roma are still keen on Batshuayi, but it’s uncertain whether they will pay that fee, although it’s highly unlikely.

Chelsea will not consider a loan deal for the striker, with him only having 18 months left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.

It does seem like a ridiculously large price for a player who hardly plays for Chelsea unless anything happens to Tammy Abraham.

Clubs will be witnessing Batshuayi’s poor recent cameos though and not wanting to pay anywhere near £45 million.
