Frank Lampard has been asked about transfer once again in his pre-match press conference, and once again he has refused to speak about players who play for other clu… hang on!
This time, asked directly about Edinson Cavani, Lampard did not say that he wouldn’t speak about another club’s players, and instead was very complimentary about the striker.
He called him a “great player”, mentioned he played against him and “love[s] his attitude and mentality” and concluded with a tempting “we’ll see”…
Football.London had the full quotes from the manager’s presser.
Frank Lampard certainly not ruling out a move for Cavani when questioned…
"He is a great player, I played against him. I am not sure what the situation is there though. He has experience, sometimes it's good to bring in experience."

"He's a great player… I love his attitude and mentality… we'll see…" – Frank Lampard leaving the door VERY open for Edinson Cavani rumours. 👀

That’s enough to get any fan excited. It’s probably the most openly we’ve seen Frank talk about any player so far, and we really feel like this one might be possible.
Even if it’s not Cavani he wants and he’s just creating a smokescreen, he’s done a very good job of it. We will find out soon, with just ten days left in the market it’s time to make a move.
